Hi

I just came from the Wikipedia website to learn more about narcolepsy. It's a rare disease. About 200,000 people have it.
You do have a point. It's not funny and I was wondering why you kept saying that. Because the disease is so rare, it has been abused in the media, especially in the comedy sector.

Of course, it isn't until we are adults that we finally understand that a joke is also an insult. The purpose of humor is to allow us to lighten up by making fun of ourselves. Unfortunately, like anything enjoyable, such as laughter, it doesn't take long to become a bad habit. Again, jokes are also insult. When somebody gets angry, a funny thing happens. Both comedian and target are right. It is both funny and the target has a right to be angry. That's my theory of humor.

In any event, now that you posted those videos, I can see how badly the media, especially the humor industry, has portrayed that condition. The article at Wikipedia reports that there is apparently some hope through the research being conducted in laboratories. The only thing disturbing is all the amphetamines that people are being prescribed. However, people must be helped in their attempt to lead a normal life. I don't know you, but you seemed like a motivated person. Keep up the fight.
